We arrived in Ireland on Sunday 19th and had a two-hour stopover in Dublin. We went to explore the city a little bit. Afterwards we drove to Galway by bus to meet our host families, who took us to their small but homely houses where we stayed throughout the week.  Our hostfamilies were very nice and helpful and provided us with delicious Irish food.
On weekdays we attended language school for four lessons every day. Tuition was challenging, funny and interesting all at the same time.
In the afternoons we had time to spend on our own or we did different activities, like a walking tour, a trip to Galway Aquarium and the beach. There also was a river cruise, a game of bowling, a dog race and a visit to a traditional Irish pub.

The highlight was our trip to the Aillwee cave and the Cliffs of Moher. First we could not see a thing because of the fog, but when it finally lifted we had a beautiful view. It was awesome and breathtaking.

We really recommend visiting Ireland to everybody!
